The Governor's Office of Student Achievement
The Governor's office funds the Literacy Mentoring for Leadership program, which provides mentorship for the literacy teams at local schools.

Since 2017, the Deal Center has worked closely with the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) to provide literacy resources to more than 100 classrooms in at-risk counties.

This partnership has expanded the PRIME TIME Family program - an initiative to increase library access for lower income families.

Atlanta-Fulton public library foundation
The Shared Reading for NICU Babies program has been the primary focus of our partnership with foundation. Working with their team, we've produced short instructional videos, expanded their resource library, developed promotional materials and hosted focus groups.

Get Georgia Reading
The Deal Center is a major sponsor of Get Georgia Reading - a state-wide campaign to recruit state and community leaders to our shared mission of third-grade reading proficiency.

This ongoing partnership focuses on the impact mental health has on language and literacy development. Together, we've hosted workshops for educators and produced a webinar series.

Georgia Public Library Service is grateful for the partnership with the Sandra Dunagan Deal Center for Early Language and Literacy. Working together to make programs like PRIME TIME possible, we help families discover the joy of shared reading and discussions centered around books, strengthening critical thinking skills.
