The Tale Trail for Baldwin County

The Deal Center, in partnership with the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity chapter of Georgia College State University and Milledgeville, GA’s Boy Scout Troop 124, established a community walking trail in Baldwin County’s Harrisburg neighborhood. This quarter-mile footpath offers families the opportunity to get moving while fostering a love of reading! Along the walking trail, parents and children will find an illustrated book, “Grayson’s Play Date” by Steve J. Zachary, Jr. Each page is displayed in fun, interactive storyboard stands designed by GCSU’s Creative Services. These displays include prompts to encourage reading comprehension and children’s interest in literature. Tale Trail used StoryWalk Exhibits as its inspiration. Visit now and often for more fun times with your children in the future; the exhibit rotates frequently. Thanks to our partners and friends for bringing the Tale Trail to fruition!
