Amanda Vining
Program Assistant
Amanda Vining is a graduate of Georgia College & State University and has spent the last 13 years working in the non-profit sector. Her most recent role was the museum manager for Georgia Writers Museum, where she chaired the education committee. The committee is committed to promoting writing workshops and writing opportunities to students of all ages across the State of Georgia. Amanda also serves on the Georgia Children’s Book Awards committee, which fosters a love of reading in children and introduces them to books of literary excellence. Additionally, she volunteers with Putnam County 4H, where she coaches the Forestry Judging team. Amanda was honored as a Volunteer of the Year in the Northeast District. She resides in Eatonton with her husband and son. They are active in their local church, and in their spare time, they enjoy hiking, playing disc golf, music, and various creative pursuits.
